Nathan's International Hot Dog Eating Contest - 2011, No Kobayashi

Last Nathan's International Hot Dog Eating Contest,Takeru Kobayashi, former Hot Dog Eating Champ Arrested after jumping into the stage expecting the people would chant to let him eat.

Such an unfortunate experience for the Nathan's Internation Hot Dog Eating Contest champion, who held  titles from 2001 to 2006. Takeru Kobayashi would break the 50-dog mark three times, including a then-record 54 in 2006.

Kobayashi was prohibited from entering the Nathan’s Famous contest last year because of contract disputes with the organizers.  This year, he is eating hotdog alone. 


A report of Wall Street Journal quoted below,

Instead he will compete from afar, eating alongside a live satellite feed of the contest on the roof of 230 FIFTH, a Manhattan bar. He’ll eat the very same Nathan’s hot dogs and buns, starting and finishing in time with the real competitors.
