Thomas Beatie also also known as The Pregnant Man claims he "should have" been chosen to compete on "Dancing with the Stars" this season but says, "Chaz Bono stole my thunder."

Beatie told TMZ that he reached out to casting in the hopes of landing a spot a few months ago -- but never got a call back. To

But after DWTS announced that Chaz would be on the show, Thomas says he thinks he knows why he was rejected -- the transgender quota had already been filled.

Happy Eid'l Fitr Muslim brothers & sisters

Once again the Holy Month of Ramadhan has ended and celebrated by Muslims around the world as Eid'l Fitr.

Here in Cotabato City, thousands celebrated night before the congregation prayer will be held. by conducting a motorcade and Takbir. Takbir is done by reciting "Allahu Akbar" or "Allah is Great" (followed by other phrases ) repeatedly.

In the city also,the largest Mosque here in the Philippines opened today as Muslim prayed for  Eid'l Fitr. The mosque was named after Brunie Sultanate, Masjid Sultan Hadji Hassanal Bolkiah as he funded the building of the said mosque.

After the Eid'l Fitr prayer, many families celebrated by holding a "Kanduli" or sort of party. In the ARMM ORG Compound, the ARMM government treated the attendees of the Eid'l Fitr prayer by held at the compound by giving them food after the prayer. Children were also given gift packs.

In general, the 2011 Eid'tl Fitr in the city has been peaceful with no reported dead or hit by stray bullets. It has also been reported that only few from our fellow Muslims fired their guns.

Anne Curtis Sukob Na - ABS CBN's 2011 Ulan Station ID

The last time I posted about Anne Curtis was about her n*pslip at Boracay during ASAP tour to the said tourist destination.

Today, I'm glad it's not the same.

ABS-CBN is widely known for making station ID if not every season of the year at least once every year. For instance during X'mas holidays, who would  ever forget the "Salamat Bro".

This year as the rainy season approaches, ABS-CBN made a new Station ID entitled Ulan with song Sukob Na by Anne Curtis.

Rihanna enjoys Kadooment Day in her native Barbados by busting out some dance moves while wearing very little.

The Grand Kadooment Day celebrated at the end of the island’s weeks-long Crop Over Festival, a colorful, music-filled season coinciding with the local sugar cane harvest.

Javaris Crittenton charged for murder

Javaris Crittenton, former Washington Wizards player has been has been charged with murdering a 23-year-old woman.

Crittenton -- who has been bounced from the league -- is accused of shooting the mother of 3 on August 19 in Atlanta. Investigators don't believe she was the intended target. According to AJC.com, authorities believe Crittenton was gunning for someone who robbed him back in April.

The victim was shot in the hip and died in surgery.

Crittenton pleaded guilty of gun possession and placed 1 year probation when he and Arenas pulled gun on each other Wizards locker room in 2009.

Crittenton is currently a fugitive and cops are looking for him.

I just learned that it has been teen years since Aaliyah's death today.

Ten years ago,Aaliyah, one of hottest artist in R&B was killed when the twin-engine plane she was aboard crashed moments after takeoff in the Bahamas.

According to her discography, Aaliyah have only three albums released -- the last, "Aaliyah," hit shelves just weeks before her Aug. 25, 2001 death.

Aaliyah still has an impressive collection of unforgettable songs both catchy and innovative for their time, thanks to her collaborations with Timbaland and Missy Elliott.

At the time of her death, Aaliyah was also launching an acting career. She had just wrapped filming Anne Rice's "Queen of the Damned," which was released in February 2002.

Brooke Shields on "The Addams Family"

Here's latest about Brooke Shields from CBS.

Brooke Shields whom I rarely heard any updates of was actually busy and enjoying her role in Broadway's "The Addams Family". According to CBS's report, Shields decided to extend her stay to the said Broadway until the end of this year.

Shields joined the as Morticia Addams June of this year and planned to exit on October 30.

"I am having the time of my life playing Morticia with this wonderful company of actors. Morticia is such a delicious role and 'The Addams Family' is such a fantastic and iconic piece of entertainment that I just couldn't resist the invitation to extend," Shields said, according to Playbill.

"We are thrilled Brooke has agreed to continue in 'The Addams Family' for two additional months," added lead producers Stuart Oken and Roy Furman. "She is a wonderful Morticia and has proven to be a great boost for the show in all respects."

Shields will now exit the role on Dec. 31, Playbill reports.

The actress' other Broadway credits include playing Ruth in "Wonderful Town," Roxie Hart in "Chicago" and Sally Bowles in "Cabaret."

Jennifer Garner pregnant

Jennifer Garner and husband Ben Affleck expects their third child.

This is according to Hollywood gossip site GossipCop,

The couple released a statement tonight saying they’re “thrilled” to have another baby on the way.

Garner and Affleck, who were married in 2005, have two daughters – 5-year-old Violet and 2-year-old Seraphina.

No other details about Garner’s new pregnancy were revealed.

Taga Cotabato ka kung..

For three weeks now, an Internet meme "Taga" became a trending stuff over Facebook. I first noticed "Taga Gensan ka kung", "Bataeño (Bataan) ka if", Taga Davao ka kung, Taga UP Diliman ka kung and many more.

The Internet meme "Taga's" objectives were actually to share stuff, showcase and informed friends and people over Facebook about the certain place, organization, or schools the Facebook group created or members joined in.

As a Cotabateño, of course I joined "Taga Cotabato ka kung" since I have been a residence of this City since the age of 5.

Taga Cotabato ka kung..my observations

The first 3 days was very interesting, most of the members shared the foods, historical places, newly established commercial avenues, restaurants, the why's, when etc etc etc. It was very heartwarming to read that mostly if not all are really proud of the city.

Some members also shared their Cotabato City flood experiences (which has been recurring for four years, this year was the worse one IMO), the local delicacies, dating places and many more.

Unfortunately, as mentioned earlier, not all were really proud and in fact some posted insulting comments about Cotabato City, its people, the crimes, and the city in general. Most of them would actually bring negative implications to the city but that's what they really want to share to the world, so be it. I have noticed a lot of disagreements among members particularly to the issue of deleted post. Like any other social media trends, there has been cyber bullying just like what happened to Christopher Lao. I've read comments that who experience intimidation, but to be fair, cyber bullying and intimidation not only happens in this particular group.

Yesterday and yes today I visited the group just to check out happenings, there's this particular member posted her comment about males in Cotabato saying (her family name is Villanueva, unfortunately we have the same last name.), as a Cotabateño if I'm one those ugly person she wants to point that's fine with me but to comparing the ugly person with the farmers is something outrageous to any Filipinos who understands their contribution to this country.

I actually find her comment irrelevant to the objective of the group but maybe she ran out ideas to share to the group.

Btw, Taga Cotabato ka kung number of members always match with Taga Gensan ka kung group, 6,237 and 6,287 respectively.

Back to the particular post at Taga Cotabato ka, IMO, she had skipped her grade school subject that supposed to teach her what does a "Magsasaka" does in their lives for us to have food to serve for meals. Yes she has her freedom of expression but perhaps she should be more responsible in posting such comments, I could remember Jackie Bermejo the time when storm Ondoy hit the country. She was also hit by hate comments after posting on her Facebook wall how she hates Philippines. But it turns out, her FB profile was hacked.

Just enjoying myself tonight watching The Voice's Encore Episode. Just got interested how The Voice reality singing contest work.

As the coaches Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green competes to have their team member, I can't hardly wait until they get pissed with each other. But as Christina also said, they seem four are just having a friendly competition.

So the show is not just for contestants after all. It's also a competition between coaches also.

Jeff hails from Jones Creek, Texas – a town so small it doesn't even boast a post office. He supports himself showing cows while pursuing a music degree from Belmont University. A singer since age seven, he dedicates his music to his mother – whom he also counted as his best friend – who recently passed away from cancer.

The Game's Twitter prank

Rapper The Game faces trouble for his Twitter Prank on Sheriff’s Department.

The Game tweeted that Sheriff’s Department in Compton is calling for an internship, right

The rapper’s followers flooded the Sheriff’s Department in Compton with phone calls after he tweeted the number but told people to call it for an “internship.”

Lines were jammed for about 3 hours with wannabe interns believing they’d reached an office connected to The Game.

When Captain Mike Parker found out the source he tweeted The Game to take down the misleading tweets, pointing out that the large volume of calls were “compromising public safety.”

The Game then removed the prank tweets, but responded by saying, “Yall can track a tweet down but cant solve murders! Dat was an accident but maybe now yall can actually do yall job!!!! #iSpeak4ThePeople.”

The Sheriff’s Department plans to file a complaint with the District Attorney and could possibly file charges against The Game for obstructing officers in the performance of their duties.

Rose McGowan her life as runaway

Rose McGowan known for her role as Paige Matthews in The WB Television Network supernatural drama series Charmed, claims that she's a runaway when  she was 13 and soon found herself being taken in by a group of men who liked to dress up as women.

According to Rose McGowan,

Just checking out Google trends tonight and noticed Rebecca Black somewhere in top ten.

Well, I enjoyed the guy's video comment on netizens who bully Rebecca Black. Saying, these haters simply envies Rebecca Black's success. In my opinion, the haters who also criticize Black doesn't really her singing style particularly the autotunes.

Anyway, I'm not one of those bullying Rebecca Black :)

Cee Lo Green - Cry Baby [Video]

Cee Lo Green latest music video for his single "Cry Baby" is out and features Jaleel White.

White was known for his Steve Urkel role in the hit ABC/CBS sitcom “Family Matters,”.

Cee Lo Green’s Cry Baby’s theme feat a 1960′s theme and White dances while he lip-syncs the Cee Lo tune to a bevy of beauties.

White was supposed to make a one-time appearance on Family Matters, but he lucky to win the starring role.

“If you ever see me do that character again, take me out and put a bullet in my head and put me out of my misery,” he said after the series ended.

In 2001, Jaleel White graduated from UCLA with a degree in film and television and has had a slew of small parts in movies and television shows. He also is a screenwriter.

Crude Oil Price Reversal : Seeking Alpha

With the recent downgrade of US debt issue circling, one of the most affected product is crude oil. Here in the Philippines, crude oil prices also went down.

Crude futures fell sharply on Monday, (-4%) as S&P’s downgrade of the U.S. credit rating strengthened worries about the economic recovery and demand for oil. This is really a continuation of last week‘s decline. The fundamentals for oil markets have been weakening in most of Q2 2011 with demand softening as result of higher gasoline prices despite supplies being tight on lack of exports from Libya. Front month crude (NMN - CL1U) dropped $3.31, (-3.8%), at $83.57 a barrel on the NYME. The contract earlier hit an intraday low of $82.52 a barrel. Oil lost 9.2% last week — including a pullback of nearly 6% on Thursday that sent prices to their lowest since mid-February. Other energy products tracked oil lower, with heating oil leading the way. Front contract (NMN - HO1U) lost 7 cents, or 2.4%, to stand at $2.86 a gallon. September gasoline (NMN - RB1U) declined 5 cents, or 1.8%, at $2.75 a gallon.

This raises some key questions about the current deflationary spiral. Despite heightened uncertainty around the outlook for commodities, we are still keeping a constructive view for the sector’s prospects. Factors include still-higher than expected world GDP growth/EM world, sufficient to tighten key commodity markets and commodity-supply tightness that have substantially offset if not dominated demand disappointments in key markets. For oil, it’s only a matter of time before inventories and OPEC's spare capacity will become effectively exhausted, requiring higher oil prices to restrain demand. The recent decline in the price of commodities and equities decrease the valuations with a very little effect on forward earnings/demand estimates (which have remained subdued). The spat of negative economic news will set the stage for economic data surprising to the upside. Market participants (especially managed money) will treat it as positive news for crude oil demand and crude oil price. The main factors for this view are:

Google Doodle Today : Lucille Ball

It's 100th birthday of Lucille Ball today and as part of Google tradition, they made a tribute to her birthday by making its homepage logo for Lucille Ball, most known as Google doodle.

Google doodle today is an interactive doodle featuring a drawing of a vintage TV set queued up with some of the most heart-tugging and funny moments from old Lucy shows.

The TV have seven channels to select with and shows into classic Lucy moments - from the grape stomping episode to Desi crooning "We're Having a Baby."

Rowan Atkinson or Mr. Bean..survivor of car crash

According to various entertainment sites, Rowan Atkinson already left UK hospital after accidentally crashed his high-powered McLaren F1 supercar this week but survived with just minor injuries.

Report says that Rowan Atkinson lost his control of the vehicle and struck a tree and then a lamp post before the supercar caught fire.

Kid named Gilbert sings Justin Bieber's Baby and Bruno Mars' Just the way you are

A kid named Gilbert from Mabalacat Pampanga amazes me with his singing talent.

In my guess, the kid asked for some coins to sing for them. The guys were amazed as the kid started to sing Justin Bieber's, to Bruno Mars' Just the way you are, Sean Kingston's Shawty and some other songs I'm not familiar with.

This kid really got talent and with the help of social media, he might get a chance to get more attention and earn not just coins for living.

As of this posting, the video embedded below has been viewed 109,387 times and it gets even higher as it becoming viral over Facbook.

Boy with Asperger's syndrome saves life

Here's another interesting news about a boy with Asperger's syndrome or high functioning austism.

According to KABC's report, a 7-year-old boy with autism saves his friend from drowning.

Last month, Connor Musk, who has Asperger's syndrome, was at a swimming pool when a 4-year-old boy jumped in and went straight to the bottom. Connor jumped in after him, grabbed the boy by the arm, brought him to the surface and called for help. He said he wasn't scared.

"Usually with Asperger's, children like to freeze when they come into mass situations like that, they don't know what to do. And he actually didn't freeze, which we're lucky for that case," said Connor's father, Michael Musk.

Connor's dad recently became a certified public safety diver. He said Connor came and watched some of the classes, which is how he knew exactly what to do.

OKC star player Kevin Durant hit the internet searches today with people searching over his game play at Rucker Park.

According to various media sites, Kevin Durant plays in Harlem and dropped 66 points in his Rucker Park debut.

Kevin Durant pulled up 5-6 feet behind the 3-point line and stroked it as if it were a mid-range jumper.

Guess, Kevin Durant is readying himself for the NBA's upcoming season.

Hug Maria Ozawa in Hong Kong comic fair

Here's interesting news for comic fans.

According to Yahoo! Asia, a comic fair was held Hong Kong and turns out Hug-a-p0rn-star. The event actually draws a lot of audience but when former Japanese porn star Maria Ozawa, it has draws more attention and audience. Resulted to adding more securities enabled to maintain order as Ozawa offered hugs to the first 40 people to enter the five-day fair.

China vs Philippines on Spratlys

If not for the its natural resources would 6 countries would be interested to claim ownership for island that's less than 5 square kilometres or 1.9 sq miles? Claimants of Spratly Islands are Brunei, Vietnam, China, Taiwan, Malaysia.

I found myself watching documentaries about this Spratly Islands which saddens me for possible repeat of similar story wherein the Philippines loss its ownership for a certain island. According to the documentary embedded below, the issue on Spratly Islands was not the first time the Philippines have experienced.

In 1878, Philippine government allows British colonizers to occupy its island named Sabah. According to history, Sabah was part of the Sulu archipelago. Later, Malaysia claims ownership for the said island.

Meanwhile, as for the Spratly Islands, I could agree to the host of the documentary video saying we should somehow make the island useful. Making a tourist destination, new place for our prison cells, like Alcatraz maybe? It's also saddening how coward we can get because we don't have a fighting vessels that could match to let say China.

The Spratly Islands are a group of more than 750 reefs,[1] islets, atolls, cays and islands in the South China Sea. The archipelago lies off the coasts of the Philippines and Malaysia (Sabah), about one third of the way from there to southern Vietnam. They comprise less than four square kilometers of land area spread over more than 425,000 square kilometers of sea. The Spratlys are one of three archipelagos of the South China Sea which comprise more than 30,000 islands and reefs and which complicate governance and economics in that region of Southeast Asia. Such small and remote islands have little economic value in themselves, but are important in establishing international boundaries. There are no native islanders but there are rich fishing grounds and initial surveys indicate the islands may contain significant reserves of oil and natural gas.
